BeFrank launches ‘My Pension’ App

Starting today, BeFrank customers have ‘anytime anywhere’ access to their pensions thanks to the specially developed “My Pension” app. The app gives BeFrank customers the same familiar service, only optimised for smartphones. And non-customers can use the app to learn more about BeFrank. The BeFrank app can now be downloaded free of charge and supports Apple iOS and Google Android devices.

The app gives employees of companies who have placed their pension schemes with BeFrank the same experience they are accustomed to. But they now have ‘anytime, anywhere’ access to their personal pension account as well as to information on their pension plan assets and the costs. The Pension Planner tool shows the expected size of the pension payouts as well as the level of risk. Customers can also easily make their own calculations. Meanwhile, non-customers can use the app to find out more about BeFrank and its services.

BeFrank CEO Folkert Pama: “Though many people consider a pension their most important financial product, awareness of pensions remains low in the Netherlands. That’s why BeFrank is focusing on clear communication to make pensions understandable and actively promoting customer awareness of pensions. Customers of BeFrank have online access to their pension data whenever they want. And now they can also tap into that data using the device of their choice.”

Additional features of the app include news and opinion articles plus extensive support options such as demo videos, FAQs, a pension glossary and online feedback via WeFrank.

“We are keen to involve customers in the further development of the app,” says BeFrank Marketing Manager Frank van Wessel. “App users can submit their own ideas or vote on those of others via WeFrank.nl. This gives customers a say in the functions and appearance of the app’s next version. Obviously, feedback on other issues, such as our pension products, services and communication, is also welcome. ”

Developed to boost pension awareness among all BeFrank customers, the app fits in perfectly with BeFrank’s mission to bring pensions closer to people through clear communication as well as to make pensions simple and affordable for employer and employee alike.
