Of course. Let us know you want to retire at least three months before your preferred retirement date. Send an e-mail to klantenservice@befrank.nl and we will make sure you receive all the information about your retirement in good time. 

You can also enter your preferred retirement age on your personal pension page. Your new retirement date will be updated in our system straight away.

You can find all the information you need on your Uniform Pension Overview (UPO). The UPO from previous years is always on your personal pension page, under the ‘Documents’ heading. 

Have you started working this year, your UPO will not be available yet. The details you need will be available on your personal pension page:

• Go to ‘What will happen when...’ 
• Click the ‘Passing away’ heading. There, you can see how much partner's and orphan's pension will be paid out if you pass away before your retirement date. 
• Approximately how much pension benefit you can expect to receive when you retire? You can find this under the ‘Pension Planner’ menu and then ‘How much pension can I buy?’.

For your tax return, you will need your pension accrual: your Factor A or Contribution amount A. You can find this on your personal pension page or in your Uniform Pension Overview (UPO).

You will receive your UPO every year before 1 October. On your personal pension page under Documents, you can find all the UPOs you have received from us.

Yes. Your extra pension contributions will stop when you leave your job. This is because we charge the contributions to your employer. If you no longer work there, we can no longer do that.

We understand that, and fortunately that’s what we’re here for. We will help you to choose a profile that suits you. Choosing the right investment risk is really easy. Do the test and check which investment risk suits you.

Do you have a new employer and a small pension with BeFrank? We try to commute your small pension to your new Dutch pension administrator. If you don't have a new administrator after five years, and you still have a small pensioen? You can commute your pension investments. Send an email with your request for commutation to klantenservice@befrank.nl.

You have a small pension if your expected pension benefits are between € 2 and € 632.63 (in 2026) gross per year.

You can do this quickly and easily on your personal pension page. Check that your e-mail address is up to date at the same time. We send the most important information about your pension by e-mail.

If there are any details you cannot change yourself, let your employer know. They can notify us of the change through the change system.

No, unfortunately that’s not an option. At BeFrank, you can only accrue pension through an employer. A few rules also apply here. For instance, at least 25 employees need to be employed and participate in the pension scheme. This means you cannot take out a contract with BeFrank as a self-employed person – even if you already have an account with us.
