Appointment BeFrank
28 June 2016
Marianne de Boer-Maasland (47) has been appointed managing director of BeFrank as of 1 July 2016. Ms De Boer is already on the Management Team of BeFrank, which means that she is thoroughly familiar with the organisation and its customers. She will succeed Folkert Pama, who fulfilled the role of managing director for the past few years. Mr Pama was one of the co-founders of BeFrank, the first Premium Pension Institution (PPI) in the Netherlands, six years ago. Now that the organisation has matured, Mr Pama feels that the time has come for him to embark on a new career path.
Folkert Pama: “I saw BeFrank grow from a small start-up to a fully fledged pension administrator. It was an intense, but fun time. BeFrank is now a mature business and it’s perfectly positioned for further growth, which is bound to occur given the current developments in the Dutch pension system. I would like to take this opportunity to thank all our customers and employees for the trust they have placed in me and for extending me their kind cooperation.”
Leon van Riet, a member of the Executive Board of Delta Lloyd, said: “We are thankful for Folkert Pama’s valuable contribution to BeFrank. Thanks, in part, to his commitment, BeFrank has become a highly successful business over a short space of time, during which it managed to modernise the pension market. With Marianne de Boer, we already had Folkert’s successor waiting in the wings, so that we’ll be able to continue full steam ahead on our chosen path.”
BeFrank – a Delta Lloyd brand – has operated in the group pension market since 2011. BeFrank offers a transparent pension proposition, clear communication, online services and low costs.
