BeFrank nominated for Insurance Communication Award

BeFrank, Centraal Beheer and Nationale-Nederlanden are the nominees for the ‘Insurance Communication Award’, the prize for the best communicating insurance provider in the Netherlands. eyeOpen, ING and Knab have been nominated for the ‘Banking Communication Award’, the prize for the best communicating bank in the Netherlands. The awards are a joint initiative by Dutch market research firm GfK (Growth from Knowledge) and the industry magazines am: and Banking Review.

The winners of the awards will be chosen based on the results of consumer research and will be announced during the GfK Finance Congress on Thursday, 1 October 2015.

Start-ups
The GfK Finance Congress will focus on innovation and communications in the financial sector. High-profile speakers from companies such as Figlo, Google, KPMG and GfK will share their vision on successful innovations, while various start-ups will set out some of the ways in which they plan to shake up the financial sector in the next few years.

The winner of the Communication Awards will be chosen based on the results of consumer research following pre-selection by a jury consisting of Ronald Pond (Marketing Director of marketing agency FRWD Business | Communications), Fred van Raaij (Professor of Economic Psychology at Tilburg University), Guda van Noort (Director of SWOCC [‘the Foundation for Scientific Research in Commercial Communication’]), Wessel Visser (Director of communications agency BureauTaal), Tony de Bree (jury member at Dutch Fintech and author of Dagboek van een bankier [‘Diary of a Banker’], published in Dutch), Eric Landwaard (Industry Director Finance at GfK), Theo van Vugt (Editor-in-Chief of am:) and Robert Paling (Editor-in-Chief of Banking Review).
