Kaya de Lange (37) will be appointed CEO of BeFrank as of March 1, 2024. She will form the managing board together with Jan Hein Rhebergen and Sam Knabben.

Kaya held several senior management positions within NN Group. In her last position she was responsible for ING Insurance in the Netherlands. Previously, she was responsible for the private non-life insurance policies of Nationale-Nederlanden and the health insurance policies of OHRA and Nationale-Nederlanden. She has also been active as a manager within the pension company, where she focused on serving key accounts.

Kaya de Lange: “I am really looking forward to starting work at BeFrank and working within pensions again. An important phase has begun for the sector with the introduction of the Future Pensions Act. It is good to see that BeFrank is already fully engaged in this. In my work I have always found the themes of sustainability, simplicity and focus on the customer important and I see a good match with BeFrank’s strategy. I look forward to further expanding BeFrank’s strong and innovative position in the market with such an experienced team.”

Gerard van Rooijen, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of BeFrank: “I am pleased that we have found a strong successor within NN Group with Kaya. She has a lot of experience as a senior manager and with pensions. BeFrank is already implementing the first schemes under the Future Pensions Act and I look forward to entering the next phase together. The new law offers many opportunities and Kaya together with BeFrank are committed to continuing to innovate the pension market.”

Kaya succeeds Sebastiaan van den Dries, who became CEO of AZL on February 1. AZL is also part of NN Group.
